Employment exploration services will give you an idea of what it's like to have a job in the community and will give you exposure to many different fields of work.
Our exploration services are individualized and tailored to your unique interests. You'll explore the kinds of work that interest you through meetings with employers and businesses, tours, work trials, internships, and 1-1 meetings with your employment specialist.
Employment Development
Our employment specialists are trained in a variety of searching approaches to find a job that is unique to you and that meets your current employment needs.
Need money yesterday? We'll go into rapid employment mode to help you find a job fast. No idea what kind of job you want? We'll employ strategies that focus on learning about you before we start searching for your perfect job.
Employment Support
Once you've found a great job, we'll help you keep it. Our employment specialists will help you through training and orientation. They'll ensure the lines of communication between you and your supervisors are open, and they'll provide guidance, advice, and training as needed along the way.
We can help you advocate for yourself if you want a raise, a schedule change, or a promotion. Or, if it's time for a change and you want to leave, we'll help you inform your employer. Then, we'll get back to the drawing board to help you find something new.
